Two flavors of migration, both done with object-by-object validation and staged approval gates. (1) On-prem → cloud: lift legacy SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL workloads onto Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, or cloud-native equivalents — sized correctly, monitored from day one, with a documented rollback path. (2) Cross-platform: SQL Server → MySQL or PostgreSQL with stored procedures, functions, views, and ETL logic translated for semantic preservation, not literal syntax.
